Wow what an exciting event to attend in Manchester over the May bank holiday weekend.

I have all my amazing clients to thank for nominating me in the first place and for always supporting me.

I was announced as a finalist for Eyelash Technician of the Year - South England.

A tough category because this area also includes all the big London salons.

It's quite a long process entering this type of awards. Once I was nominated I had to submit a lot of supporting evidence to the awards team. Just to give you an idea this included: Photos of my work and salon; client reviews; qualifications and training undertaken; history of my company; charity work; why I am passionate about lashes and why I should win.

It was a great night, I got to get all glammed up with a lovely dress and Charlotte did my nails and hair. It was great to meet so many others within our industry.

I didn’t win this time but being a finalist amongst 8 amazing lash artists made me extremely proud to have qualified as a finalist.

I love what I do and hope my passion for lashes and offering a bespoke individual service to all my clients always shines through.
